Dentures/Partials
ToothMasters is the superior choice for quality dentures or partial dentures. Whether you require customized dentures, immediate dentures, or partial dentures, we can help. ToothMasters uses an in-office lab to create your customized dentures and partial dentures. We have a full-time, experienced dental lab technician working on our staff to tend to all of your denture needs.
Crowns/Bridges
A dental crown is a tooth-shaped cap that restores a decayed, broken, weak or worn-down tooth. Crowns can also be used to cover dental implants and root canal-treated teeth. They are made from a variety of materials like metal, resin, and porcelain. Dental crowns can last between five and fifteen years with proper care.
Dental bridges replace missing teeth, restore chewing function, enhance your appearance, and improve your oral health. A dental bridge consists of crowns that fit over your natural teeth on either side of the space and artificial teeth that “bridge the gap” in your smile.
We can now fabricate a crown/bridge without those pesky, messy impressions. With our intraoral scanner, we can scan an image of your mouth in minutes to get the perfect functioning restoration you are looking for.
Fillings
If you have never had a cavity, congratulations! If you have had one, you are not alone. About 78% of us have had at least one cavity by the time we reach age 17, according to a 2000 report by the U.S. Surgeon General. Fortunately, there’s a time-tested treatment for cavities: the dental filling. After the decay is removed from your natural tooth, we will then replace the natural tooth that was taken away with a white tooth-colored filling. Tooth-colored fillings come in composite, porcelain, and glass ionomer forms.
Veneers/Lumineers
You may already know that a veneer is a thin covering over another surface. In dentistry, a veneer is a wafer-thin layer of super-strong porcelain that convincingly substitutes for natural tooth enamel. When bonded to your teeth, veneers can create a natural-looking, beautiful new surface.
Lumineers are a brand of veneers that dentists use to improve the appearance of teeth. Lumineers are dental veneers made of a unique porcelain known as Cerinate. When bonded to your teeth, veneers can create a natural-looking, beautiful new surface. Dental porcelain, like natural tooth enamel, is translucent and tough, but it doesn’t stain like tooth enamel does. They are made of ultra-thin porcelain that is then bonded to the front of your existing natural teeth. They are often called “no prep” veneers because they require less preparation of the natural tooth unlike traditional veneers.
Extractions
Whatever the reason, tooth extraction is more often than not a very routine procedure. How straightforward this minor surgery is will depend on where the tooth to be extracted is located in the mouth, and what its roots are like. We provide our patients anywhere from a single extraction to a full mouth extraction with immediate dentures placed afterwards.
Tooth Whitening
Teeth whitening done in a professional dental setting is a safe, effective way to brighten your smile. We currently offer at home whitening kits for our patients to do on their own time with little to no time in the dental chair. You will have impressions made by our laboratory technician; custom whitening trays are then fabricated for your use at home to get that bright, white smile you have always wanted.
Cleanings
Regular checkups are your best ally to help catch dental problems before they have a chance to do harm to your oral health. Professional dental cleanings will remove hard deposits of dental plaque on your teeth and gum line. Tartar or dental plaque buildup is the leading cause of tooth decay and gum disease. Fluoride treatments and sealants are available to help the fight against cavities. We encourage our patients to visit our office twice a year (every six months) for a thorough professional dental cleaning.
Anxiety Control
The dental team at ToothMasters will work hard to ensure you have a pleasant, painless experience no matter what type of dental procedure you are receiving. We offer anxiety control to those patients who have more heightened anxiety when visiting the dentist. Nitrous Oxide or Laughing Gas is offered to all patients whether they may need a little more relaxation during their cleaning or during a more strenuous procedure such as an extraction. Nitrous Oxide can offer the patient ease of mind, knowing they can relax during their dental procedure.
We also offer another form of Anxiety control by offering a prescription to our patients who may need a little more relaxation than just nitrous oxide. Our patient would receive a prescription and then take that anxiety medication on their own time prior to their dental appointment which will put their anxiety at ease in combination with nitrous oxide.
