3-Shape Trios Intraoral Scanner

3-Shape Trios Intraoral Scanner

Intraoral scanners are the newest option available to our patients to allow more comfort and less mess than a traditional impression. We are currently using a 3-shape Trios Move scanner here at ToothMasters. An intraoral scanner allows us to create a 3D image of our patients’ teeth in order to fabricate crowns, bridges, bite splints, etc.

Intraoral Cameras

ToothMasters uses intraoral cameras to educate our patients about their oral health. With the use of the intraoral camera, it allows Dr. Price and the patient to see the condition of the patient’s teeth and oral health. We may use the intraoral camera to educate you on your oral health and diagnose dental issues such as tooth decay and periodontal disease, and tooth damage such as damaged or a chipped tooth. After a procedure is complete, the intraoral camera is also useful to track the success of your treatment.

Digital X-rays

If you have never had a cavity, congratulations! If you have had one, you are not alone. About 78% of us have had at least one cavity by the time we reach age 17, according to a 2000 report by the U.S. Surgeon General. Fortunately, there’s a time-tested treatment for cavities: the dental filling. After the decay is removed from your natural tooth, we will then replace the natural tooth that was taken away with a white tooth-colored filling. Tooth-colored fillings come in composite, porcelain, and glass ionomer forms.

Pearl AI Dental

Pearl AI Dental

As an addition to our Digital X-rays, we now offer AI detection on all X-rays that are taken in our office. The AI system we are using is called Pearl. Pearl allows us to better educate our patients on the decay/discrepancies we find within their X-rays. Pearl allows our patients to see what we see as dental professionals and gives the patient a better understanding of what decay can look like on an X-ray.

Modern Sterilization

Modern Sterilization

We pride ourselves on our sterile environment here at ToothMasters. It is our mission to make sure our patients feel safe during their dental procedures since it is a very intimate time. We have three autoclaves that are used all day long making sure each instrument, handpiece, etc. is sterile before ever being set up for patient use. Autoclaves use steam under pressure to kill microorganisms to make sure everything that is used on our patients is sterile.
